    I remember trying this as a kid with a piece of paper, but it was difficult to cut a square in the middle with scissors.

    A local radio station, in a self-promoting advertisment, made the claim that unlike other forms of advertising, radio required the listener to sit and listen to it, as a captive audience, no skipping through.Problem with that idea is, I frequently turn it off as I get fed up with it.

    Exactly how does TV “force” itself upon us? I have never yet seen or heard of a TV that doesn’t have have a power switch. Nor have I ever heard of an armed intruder barging into a home and forcing the occupants to watch TV.
