Yes, I have been hoping to see this couple. And its good to see Crystal smile. Knute is definitely the guy who fulfills her.

Well, when I saw the chemistry between these two some years ago I figured they’d get married and raise a whole house full of kids. Its just meant to be.

Crystal is drawn as arguably the hottest girl in the strip, at least in my opinion, although all the young women are quite fetching. Let me suggest something if anyone pays attention (takes the bait-:) if a movie was made, or a TV series were cast, which real live actors and actresses would you pick to play the main parts? I have to think about it before I suggest anyone because these characters are just getting into their twenties. I know a lot of young women who would fit but they are later twenties or ever early thirties, and same with guys. So even though I suggested it I have to think about it a little before I suggest some names. Geez, this is hard! Help!!

I’m not sure that a man so fixated with clean restrooms would be enamored of a shirt like that. Having said that, I’m glad to see Knute and Crystal still together and making an appearance in the strip.

I wonder when Greg Evans will get around to fleshing out what’s going on with Knute and Crystal now that they are out of High School. I could see Crystal having her own boutique, or studying design somewhere. For Knute: no idea.

Beauty Cool is in the eye of the beholder. The women in the first panel perhaps also have styes.

Another reason to like today’s strip is because both K & C are smiling. When was the last time we saw both Qu and Lu doing that?*And per yesterday’s strip, we need to remember that Pru’s room is right next to Lu’s, so no wonder she comforted first. Lu has moved yet to the U (or the CC)

Casting call: America Ferrera as Rosa, Kellie Pickler as Tiffany, and the frustratingly bland new Capt.Kirk, Chris Pine, as Quill.

They are such opposites whose attraction makes so much sense. It’s nice to see Crystal with Knute, and how can you not like Knute? Crystal still loves and is loyal to her shallow gf Tiffany, and I think that shows not only her wanting to be a bit different, but also the fact that she is sensitive to the aching in Tiffany’s soul (man so serious for a comic). Tiffany needs a Crystal. But I am glad she has Knute as her BF.

You check the movies out lately? Or even going back further. How do you explain 2 Broke Girls as a most recent example on TV as just one example? No I think this could make a very good sit com idea, although as a movie it would need a particular storyline. This has been developing now for 30 years, but I would argue that where the characters are now would make the most interesting story. Nic Cage as Frank? Nah, we need somebody who could be normal, like in normal, yet likable. Who could play Brad by the way, or Bernice? I just thought of who could play Tiffany all day!! Carly Chaikin. In fact checking that cast there might be some other possibilities. Jeremy Sisto as Frank? Allie Grant as Luann? How about the middle actress Eden Sher who plays Sue Heck? She could do Luann, Bernice, although Tiffany could be a stretch. Okay I came up with a few girls, any guys, guys?

Perfect!! I already went to the Middle! Her brother in the series, Charlie McDermott, could play Bwad/Brad. What hottie could play Toni (this would have to be a really good actress because Toni has a real history). While we are at it Gunther?

How about Daniel Radcliff as Gunther? Put back on the Harry Potter glasses and curl the hair. And Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) could also fill the Tiffany role. Tiffany really is Ginger from Gilligan’s Island, but Tina Louise must be about 70 by now. I must apologize for not even knowing most of the actresses mentioned in previous posts, but this is fun anyway.

This strip was like slipping on a comfortable pair of old jeans. I fits just right.
