Why is Luann so nervous? It was her idea

I feel like Luann when I get talked into jumping seats. I like MY seat – where there’s no hassle.

My, my, Jack certainly turned into a pantywaist. In fact, in the second panel, his boobs are as big as Luann’s. Tara has hers covered up as she is not going to stand for any competition, especially in that department.

Some stupid comments so far. Some funny ones too, and I hope the difference is pretty clear. Personally Tara likes to flaunt rules, and Luann wants to as well, but is scared to do so. But it’s Tara’s willingness to take chances that attracts Ms Good Girl in the first place. Bernice would soon eat a burning log before she would agree to go sit in the VIP seats without tickets, assuming she would go to a Monster Truck rally. Jack is a really big kid, a good guy, and does not like to take a chance that might turn out badly. Whither you go Greg and Karen? To meet some new personna, or to get into trouble? Or a combination. Hmmmm.

Yeah…we all know Tara is the daredevil who embraces crazy fun like stealing a dormitory tv from the lounge for her personal use.

On 4-29-17, the campus police found the stolen television. The thief was seen on the security video breaking the vending machine and going into her dorm room, (room 213.) Director Lopez stated, “We found the stolen T.V. The vending machine thief had quite a stash of booty in her room.” On 8-31-17, Tara herself blithely says, “Well, then, you know all about me, right? The thief of Moony Uni! She steals T.V.s! Breaks into vending machines! What WILL she take next?!” Tara blamed her theft on “dumb friends”, but breaking into the vending machine and stealing the contents was a unilateral act. I don’t know what her legal status is, but she is a habitual thief. I don’t understand why so many people are defending her.

Tara seems to be the most normal character in this comic.

I often wait until the event starts. If there are seats that are closer, I often always move. Never had a problem once the event starts.

Empty seats at a Monster Truck Rally? Not around here! People really enjoy seeing tremendously overpowered machinery ripping up the ground and doing backflips accompanied by the smell of burning fossil fuel in this part of the country.

Another question for the readers. Several people have said Tara is “good looking”, “beautiful”, etc. What is beautiful about her? I think she’s more funny looking than beautiful. Opinions?

Jack and Luann seem to be kindred spirits…on doing this anyways. I am starting to like them as a couple.

25+ years ago some friends got tickets for a met’s game. I got home from work and they called saying’ want to go to a game TONIGHT?" sure. we were in the bleachers and most of it was taken up by some company having a team building function. We had legitimate tickets for the seats and once we saw what was going on just got involved with their BQQ and nabbed hot dogs and beer and had a great time at the ESPN company outing.

I sincerely doubt Luann’s or Jack’s trepidation is warranted. I think generally at events such as these, when they are sparsely attended, most folks will migrate forward…. and usually it is beneficial for the show/attraction itself… to have a greater density of their audience closer.

I think likely NOTHING would normally happen in this situation. At the WORST, under normal circumstances, the “VIPs” may show up…. and then the trio would simply have to move.

But…. this must be a set-up for Greg’s longer range plan for this arc. So…. what might be afoot? Some thoughts:

1. Perhaps the trio will run into someone famous? (1 out of 10 probability, IMO)

2. Perhaps the trio will (surprisingly) get into actual trouble for some reason? (5 out of 10 probability, IMO)

3. Perhaps nothing will happen and this is simply being used as a “character development” day. Perhaps we are to have a better understanding that both Luann and Jack are “goody-goody”, “generally risk aversive” characters and Tara is a “risk-taker”. (7 out of 10 probability, IMO…. although those characteristics seem to already have been established before)

4. Perhaps the “VIP” folks that arrive will be surprising to us (say, Al (who does not seem the Monster Truck sort of fellow)) or may be segueing into a mergining of arcs (say Tom “Cat” Ferrell…. potentially with Ann…. or (more shocking) some OTHER woman at his side). (6 out of 10 probability, IMO)

I can’t believe how many Luann readers condemn Tara as a thief for life. Probably the same ones that wanted Les to call the police and have them put his mother in jail.

With the exception of Tara’s jeans, all their outfits could be Star Trek uniforms – they just need the insignias.

Luann’s eyes popping out yesterday and today make me think that she sees someone she knows.

They are incapable of Feeling Guilt, so they never Look that way.

Luann is apprehensive. Jack is utterly terrified. What if they are found to be “poaching” VIP seats? Only Tara seems carefree and confident in the trio’s Theft of Value (using their Nosebleed tickets to score VIP seats).

What will come of this?

Well, Luann and Bernice got kicked out of some club in N.Y. a couple of years back, maybe it’s time for a re-run.

Trying to get something that someone else paid for, without paying anything yourself. Come on GnK!
