Elvis is a serious reporter of serious news. None of this pickle nonsense. It’s not dignified either.

Puck’s little paw gesture (with toe beans) in panel four – this is not to be taken lightly.

In related news, not only has the Wake County SPCA cleared all three of the Wayward Whiskers for adoption, but Leila was adopted on Saturday! Maya and Arizona (nee Callie) are still waiting for their new homes, but are happily adjusting to life as indoor cats.

Is this a follow up story to the spaghetti harvest story?

Our Lupin is quite the actor in the first panel! he’s got a great future in films ahead of him, watch out Garfield, younger competition is coming!

I really don’t understand this. I’ve read the articles, seen the videos. I did the same thing with a pickle and both cats, and their reaction was… “meh”

“Hector, keep an eye on things here. And I know that if you need to you’ll be able to ‘find’ me with that nose of yours. Only if it’s an emergency, though.” “No problem there. You know how much I enjoy using that thing.” “That thing? What are we going to be using exactly?” Tre- C chimed in; "Call it the ultimate short cut, big guy. Hector doesn’t like it so much because he kinda’ gets overwhelmed. Not that he can’t do it- he has when it’s needed. But I think he believes he’s small enough to get lost.” “Get lost in WHAT?” “Walk with me, Maxie. Follow Tre-C and do exactly what she does- we have about a block and a half.” “A block and a half? Seriously, where are we going?” “Missouri…”

Good morning and happy Bunday, orbsters and orbabies. Lupin, you are such a scamp, to try to frighten Elvis that way. It’ll serve you right if he loses his temper and swats you silly.

The tale of the, Cucumber Beast, is as old as kitty cat time! They started to stalk cats, shorty after the people finally allowed them inside, thousands of years ago. An old tale was passed down of how a brave cat swatted the beast into salty water! Her owner found it, several weeks later, liked it and named it after her. Thus, Pickles, the salt water Tabby, never got any credit!

When you think about, pickles are perhaps more analogous to bog bodies like Tollund Man. Cucumber pickled in brine and vinegar = body pickled in bog water full of tannic acid.

I’m glad Georgia had one of the boys playing the pickle prank on the other instead of having one of the people do it. Coming from another cat makes it funny.

Onyx came to sis this morning & “asked” to be picked up. She reached up, put her front paws on sis’s knee, & gave an “imploring look” sis just couldn’t resist. Once up on sis’s lap, she proceeded to “melt” with head & paws hanging off every which way. I wonder if she’s part Ragdoll – they’re famous for doing that!

Sadly, one of my cats died last night. I’ve had him for a long time and he lived to a ripe old age, but it’s still sad. :( On a more upbeat note, love today’s comic. :)
