Tommy talked Sophie into sitting at the news desk; I wonder how long that took.

I am convinced that cats have Asperger’s syndrome. That is why, even when they want attention, they are quickly overwhelmed by it.

Of course Tommy has a paper umbrella in his beverage! Is that a muffin in front of Sophie or is it that exclusive food served to cats in cut crystal dishes?

Puck’s suit makes him look like a true adventurer.

Ohhhhh, I love this arc! Beatrix most certainly has an undeniable advantage.

Look at Sophie there. She reminds me of myself, finding whatever book I had at the moment more interesting than whatever was going on around me. Now if only I had her artistic talent!

I bearly recognised Tommy. I’m accustomed to seeing him in his trademark shirt.

I barely recognized Tommy in a suit, I thought it was Burt at the desk and wondered why Sophie was so willing to be with a strange cat.

So glad Sophie is there with Tommy.

BCN gets in one’s head. My last night’s workplace anxiety dream about a job I had in 1970 had a guy in the background servicing the coffee vending machine. He was wearing a jacket that said OCHS on the back.

Okay, what happened to the nasty grammar police post from yesterday? I just went back to see if there were any further replies after mine from last night, and couldn’t find it or any replies. Was this something created in my mind by my cold medicine, or was everything somehow removed???

I just hope the real Puck is all better and ready to climb everything.

From the looks on Beatrix’s and Lupin’s faces in panel 3, I would say the cats are climbing for the pure joy of the climb.

Puck is eating again, and even waited on the breakfast bowls to be set down this morning! Still “coughing” (heaving) now and then, still resting up, but this feels like an awesome great thing and I thought I’d share!

So … Puck bowed out of this competition?!

Dear Orbsters – maybe you all have heard about Notre Dame Cathedral burning? Almost started crying at work – such a loss of so much beauty and history! Notre Dame survived the revolution, WWI and WWII only to have this happen. Maybe it’s a bit weird to ask for prayers, boops and purrs but I mourn when so much beauty and history is lost! Thanks.

I was thinking about the grammar comment yesterday and how it was not done very nicely etc. I brought to mind how cats seem to bring out the best in people. My partner likes to watch You Tube videos about people who take a salvage car and make it road worthy again. He has been watching Goonzquad and the Lambourghini they worked on a while ago and in the videos they have Thomas the Technician. A lovely medium hair grey tabby who inspects deliveries, work done, and generally supervises the build. These guys get fan mail for Thomas. People send in treats and a cat condo and a cardboard swooning couch in the shape of a race car all for Thomas. If you ask me Thomas is the star.To me, it illustrates the point that cats seem to bring out the best in people.

I went back to the original because I didn’t remember Sophie’s presence at the news desk, but she was there. You can also clearly see that it is an umbrella in Tommy’s mug. I didn’t know that Puck was 3 legged. How I love him even more. I have had 6 blacks cats over the past 45 years and loves all of them. They all have their stories!

I don’t think I have ever been more enamored by any comic than Georgia Dunn’s lovely cats. I miss having one, however we do have a beautiful grey & black striped tabby named Buddy who lives under & around our house! He loves us all but is so in love with my son that it’s lovely!!!

Puck is always dressed for the occasion. He has the best wardrobe!
