Tiffany and Les are like partners in crime?

Wow – G & K continue to surprise us. Tiffany is holding up her end of the deal with Les. Tiff has become so much more interesting since her cheer leader days.

The faucet is in front of Les and yet he seems to be pulling the sprayer from the ceiling?

A scenario for tomorrow: Bets is starting to make the move on Gunther in his room. However at that time, Les shows up with Tiffany (they sampled the bar after the Fuse closed). A combination plate of hilarity & frustration.

SO she kept her word and split her tips with Les. I was kind of expecting her to welsh on her agreement. AND Les is a dish reader. Cool. It helps that he used to wait tables and knew the menu. Les, let’s see if you can read the dishes and tell us WHO ate them?

The biggest tips always go to the biggest ti… never mind.

A real symbiotic relationship. What’s this? Les is returning the earring before determining that it might have any value beyond a tip?? He’s reformed!! Hallelujah, brother Amos!

Ah. Les is here as predicted. Now, things are (A-HEM) relevant.

But don’t get too “excited,” kiddies. That’s gonna HAVE to be a three-way split with those tips, because in addition to Les, Uncle Samuel also gets HIS “cut.” Not to mention a piece of their salary.

But fear not. If Tiffany had no problem with giving Bets 50% of the take from the sale of her stuff on eBay, then dividing the take from the tips should be an “issue,” right? Wonder if those tow settled up yet?

Oh yeah. Remember when Multi-Billionaire Warren Buffett once declared that he paid less Federal taxes than his staff? Tiff and Les should take comfort in THAT the next time they look at their pay stubs.

I think I saw this in a movie once. “Grifters”, it was called.

I think Tiffany is finally learning she doesn’t have to behave or dress like a seductive tramp to get people to like her. Just be professional and treat people with respect and you’ll get better tips than if she dresses like she will take an attractive man or cute boy in the backroom wink wink

Somehow, I still distrust Les. How did that earring get in his grubby hands?

Notice that Les did NOT keep the earring.

I’m surprised Tiffany is busing the tables, most restaurants have a bus boy do that.

It’s refreshing to see Tiff and Les working together in a positive way.

I know it’s “just a comic,” but it really tickled me.

So far they have a great team work that gives them high earnings and they seem to have no arguments. I don’t know where this situation can go. But the more I sees them the more I see these two as brother and sister. So I’m waiting for Ann and Tom to give them the “Happy Announcement” that will definitely ruin them lives.

What if that turns out to be her own earring, and one of the customers notices it? Or if it simply doesn’t belong to one of the customers, and they think she’s trying to get more money out of them (which she is)?

To those that think Les is trying to rope Tiff into some kind of scam, I say nay, nay. He’s just reminding Tiff to employ her acting skills in her new profession. Sometimes servers must have to act pleasant and friendly when they are not inclined to do so. Comes with the job. :o)

Les isn’t wearing gloves? Is Les hand-washing a plate? Usually, a plate will be scrapped, then put in a rack. The racked dishes will be sprayed, and then the rack will go into the dishwasher. The plate would not be soaked or hand-washed unless there is something stubborn on it.

Scraping would be done over a sink basin with the food disposer, or over a garbage container.

And they are both honestly and gainfully employed! Who wudda thought?

So it’s surprising that that Tiff and Les work well together? Not to me. Keep in mind broader points: Les is staying out of trouble, and earnlng money, while Gunther is getting in deeper (don’t take any unnecessary implications from that unless you have a dirty mind like mine) and Tiffany is using her people skills in a useful way. Nice foundation for the next surprise. Dad and Ann getting married? Maybe Tiffany can deal with that in a way that shows her growth and and independence. Gunther and Bets getting quickly and publicly serious? Les struck out with her, but there has to be a time they run into each other at the Gulag (per MD). I hope its her coming out of Gunther’s bedroom with a smile on her face. Or cooking something in the kitchen. So many possibilities!!

Great to see Greg letting Tiff be happy-excited for a change. Hope this successful work ethic she’s exhibiting continues for awhile.

I wonder if the earring is here only for today’s gag value. We’ll know tomorrow if it has “legs.”

And they’re actually working and doing the right thing! Amazing!

Les is here, so can Ann Awful be far behind?

This is a nice, playful arc. Let’s not forget the well-worn cliche of actors being waiters/servers, while awaiting their break.

OH NO…it just hit me…

Tiff gets said break, and the male playing opposite her is…Jonah. If my prediction of him being written out via the mortality route comes true, then the series falls apart, and Tiff is back to waiting tables, again.

I wonder if Les would be so honest about splitting the tips if roles were reversed?

An entertaining turn again today…. even with Les in the picture! Woah.

Tiffany’s acting chops and her ability to schmooze customers makes this job a great on for her right now.

I really do hope that Greg has some nice things in store for Tiffany in the future. I hope she does find her newly proclaimed Business Major to be to her liking. It has a lot of fun possibilities.

And… even Les…. today…. FUNNY! He had the “punchline” even. “Act like you are out of breath.” is a perfect Les thought to conclude today’s comic.

It’s nice to see Tiff enthusiastic about her job and making money. Hope she does well with her business courses. Hope Bets is a help and Ann stays out of it.

I’m glad to see that Tiff is making good on her promise to share tips with Les. I don’t know if she’s still working at Kidz 1st at reduced hours; that job wasn’t a good fit for her; she was just there to irritate Luann, not a good reason for taking a job. Waitressing at the Fuse is a good fit. She’s moving around interacting with customers which may even be helping her to develop skills for enhancing a business.

Glad to see these two maturing so well. When they were in high school, I never thought they would be where they are now. I figured Tiffany would be modelling in Paris (thanks in part to her dad pulling strings), and Les would be in jail (thanks to his attitude). But I must say I am proud of what they’ve accomplished so far.

Tiffany is earning money on her own to work towards starting her own business, and Les seems to have developed interesting forensic-like skills. While he’s still rough around the edges, he’s becoming a better person after cutting ties with Ann Awful. Let’s hope Tiffany can do the same.

Whatever faults she may have, Tiff is Honest to a Fault.

Yet another reason she cannot get along with Annie Awful.

Just do a good deed and let that be enough.

But I’ll grant that he is good at reading dirty dishes….

From what my waitress nieces tell me, the government figures wait staff make so much in tips (apparently pulling an arbitrary number out of the air) in addition to their wages, and they have to include it on their tax returns. Wonder what Tiffany will do when she realizes Les wouldn’t be subject to that?
