TBQH, gunther didn’t enjoy photographing that lingerie, just handling panties, bras, teddies, and negilees was about to cause him a stroke.

Now all they have to do is realize their common enemy is Ann Eiffel and begin working on a cockamamie scheme to get Tiffany some money out of Ann.

Yo Les! I’ll TAKE that Bet. No Gunther was NOT enjoying photographing Tiff’s lingerie.

You Know? For two guys that can’t STAND each other, they sure know an awful lot about each other’s personal business.

At any rate, these two Saps need to knock it off, and put their heads together and come up with a viable plan to help their friend, ASAP. Or at the VERY least, enlist the aid of someone who CAN. (Paging Bets and Al Grey)

oopsie – a huge Freudian slip, Gunth. Either you haven’t been intimate with Bets yet or she does not do it for you…she is merely a Trekkie pal. Like Jack and Luann – one sided. Jack likes Luann but she does not return the feeling and friendzoned him. Will the same be the case for Bets – who all of us know is possessive of Gunther – getting friendzoned soon?

What do the boys have in common? They both want to help tiffany with her finances.

What is the difference between the boys? Gunther wants tiffany as his friend, to win her over through her heart and mind. And if romance occurs….bonus

Les however is ONLY helping her with the hopes of hookin up with her. he wants “friends with benefits.”

I think they should both keep 30% instead of 50% to help her out.

Let’s be fair boys she’s only interested in either of you so that she can exploit you.

In terms of who got the better of the argument I would say that Les is more. It is clear that spending hours photographing Bets in lingerie is more enjoyable than washing dishes. Les likes that because he gets half Tffany’s tips, and does not have to wait on people. Gunther gets the delectable Bets in various stages of undress, plus he gets Bets in the bargain. I think he should needle Les about that, but Gunnie can be so clueless. Anyway I agree with MD and others, what are they going to do to help their friend Tiffany?

That’s beside the point. It was work for Tiffany to seel her stuff.

With “friends” like these, Tiff… one has to feel sorry for you! :D

First impression; der boyz are acting like roomies as opposed to the mortal enemies they once seemed. Perhaps this chiding will lead to a plan/scheme to address Tiffany’s plight.

Will this be an effective scheme or a stop gap fix? Will it be life changing re her father… Ann Awful? Will it involve moving out of the dorm and into the Gulag?

Doesn’t this town have a topless bar in it? Boom — her financial worries are over. I had lots of friends who put themselves through college that way, and drove better cars than I did.

Both are terrible. But with excellent justifications. Or, at least, that’s what they say to themselves.

The argument will probably end when they both decide to be noble and either stop charging her, or just let her have all the money.

And then they will have a battle to see who is more noble.

Tif needs to remember, “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” In this case, cold blooded giving her dad what he wants in return for money (emotional whore). Take his money and be nice to Ann, while she bides her time looking for a chance to bring her down. While she is close and sweet, work her dad for what she wants. (Later, once she is independent, if she wants to, she can turn her back on dad and Ann and walk away.

The solution to her other problem, a poor grade in Micro-Econ, is just a phone call away to Bets.

While the guys having a collective “guilt trip” is not a bad idea… they really should try to figure out a way to be more helpful for Tiffany, for me it is disappointing having the Unger/Madison dynamic between the boys appear to be a likely focus this week.

OK … If this arc keeps going like I think it will, we’ll be seeing a ‘Murray the Cop’ character enter soon! …

So the real question is “when do you cross the line and become pimps?”

The agreements seem fair to me. What would a fair percentage be to sell someone’s items on Ebay? Tiff couldn’t have done it herself. So, unless there’s a consignment store in her area I think she got a good deal to get 50% of the proceeds. Now that she has waitress experience maybe she should look for a better restaurant where she could keep all her tips and maybe get larger tips. Maybe she could look for a cheaper place to live? Maybe share a room with someone? Bitts?

You do things for your friends because you want to. Not for any benefit. Neither of these guys have acted like friends. It’s a basic law of friendship. You don’t charge for helping a friend and a friend doesn’t take advantage of your generosity. It’s a total jerk move to charge a friend for your services especially if your friend is struggling to make ends meet.Friend 1 Hey, I have to move into an efficiency apartment. My job is cutting my hours and I just can’t afford this luxury one bedroom. Can you help?Friend 2 : I can help you move for around 50 percent the cost of professionals.

If they were really friends they wouldn’t take any of her money, or at least a smaller percentage.

They can help her find a better job. She has no experience job hunting and still hasn’t thought of places like salons and whatnot which involve minimal heavy lifting and much better hours. And, she would enjoy it.

Everybody is “conveniently forgetting” that both of these “Jerks” were there for Tiffany in the Past, when she REALLY needed a friend. And on more than one occasion.

That SHOULD count for something.

But evidently, not HERE…………,

Just when I thought this arc couldn’t get more disappointing, G&K delivered again!

Surely, we could have moved on to something else this week – and allowed the two blokes to stew about this “off camera,” so to speak.

Saturday gave us a wonderful “parting shot.” It really should have been the end of this segment of the arc.

Spare me the boys quibbling among themselves about who is treating Tiffany the worst.

And Gunther – are you losing your memory? Or are you simply defending Bets by taking all the guilt yourself (for charging Tiffany for labor and shipping of her goods)?

and no one notices or comments on “Punk” cleaning himself?!!!

It was both Gunther and Bets working to design, advertise, sell, and ship Tiffany’s items. That being so, the 50% division is not exorbitant.

As I understand it, tips are normally shared with kitchen staff as they can’t generate their own, but I don’t know the traditional percentage. If Les is getting more than the norm out of a situation that ended up being to his benefit, then maybe his position is not as strong.

Felix and Oscar are alive and well…

So why does it take hours to photograph the lingerie? The setup is easy; the mannequin is available. I think Gunther enjoys this job just a little too much.

He enjoyed it.

I’ve decided that I like this odd couple roommate situation—the two can’t help but call each other on their nonsense. They’ll both come out of the experience better human beings. (Cartoon versions, anyway, but well-crafted parallels to the human condition.)

Les wins. Tiffany’s idea for the job switch and he would have lost money. Now, a real friend wouldn’t charge to take the photos to help someone out.

Hours? Gunth, is there something you are leaving out, here?

Regardless of who suggested what or when, or who agreed to what, and when, the basic fact is these two guys are taking advantage of Tiff, whose business sense is (shall we say) not very keen and who is rather easily manipulated in such matters.

Be men. Return some of your gains to Tiffany, who is in need far more more than either of you!
