Hung with Prunella and Angeltop

Good girls they were not.

Yet this was not to be.

I don’t know if she’ll give him the bum’s rush or help .. reluctantly. Edison will need to turn the charm into overdrive to crack this egg.

People on Facebook have been asking for Quiver Trembly to make an appearance in this story, and here she is!

Unlike Flattop, I guess we’re not even going to wait for Shakey’s death before we start dragging in the relatives!

She’s had quite a criminal past – she must have decided to toe the straight and narrow – or is in between gigs or just laying low…

I now see the family resemblance….

I see Crystal DID drive Shaky nuts enough he left without doing her harm. I am glad of that!

AND he got to enjoy his cigarettes again!

Who else are they going to “Shake out” of the Trembly family tree!

Anyone else would have left with Crystal as a hostage. But I guess Shaky was overly concerned about his injuries, and the possibility of contracting conjunctivitis.

Seriously? I thought we’d get an update on Tess! It’s been a week and a half, and we’re still following the travels of a moron too stupid to leave town.

I only just made the connection, “Shaky” does shakedowns. Duh, feeling like a dunce!

This whole tale is getting pretty shaky.

I’m disappointed that Crystal apparently was apparently a side character and not part of the main plot.

Shaky’s cousin is named ‘Quiver Trembly?!’

How sad that Shay’s whole family suffers from Parkinson’s disease.

Didnt quiver get killed off when angeltop blew herself up?

What an interesting family.

So evidently the interlude with Crystal was just a week of comic relief? (no pun intended)

1-JAY BOGART: Nice car. WHATSRNAME: Thanks. 57 more payments and it’s all mine.

2-JAY: How’s the gas mileage?

3-WHATSRNAME: Bad but who cares so long as gas is less than two bucks a gallon. JAY: Yeah, cool. Take this exit. SET DIRECTOR: NOOOOOO!!!!

4-JAY: Hey cuz. I unexpectedly shot Tracy’s wife and need a place to hide. So I think to myself – the cops will never consider looking for me at a relative’s house. So here I am – SURPRISE!

5-CUZ: Have you never seen Bonnie and Clyde? Or read the papers ya dolt – they always check relatives!

JAY: Hello? This is Tracy we’re talkin’ about here. CUZ: Oh yeah. Come on in. Make yourselves comfy. Stay as long as you want.

SET DIRECTOR: FOR THE REST OF THE PLAY! I’M BEGGING YOU!!!

Today has this, “We’re just making this up as we go along” kind of feel to it. Which works, when you’re running from the cops, I guess.

I know the original Quiver storyline had Tracy reminded of Shaky by her, but up until this new Shaky story, was it ever mentioned that Shaky mark 1 was related to the Trembleys? Thanks!

Next up..T.V. Wiggles, Shakes crazy Uncle in the attic. Yeah, I know he’s dead, but that doesn’t seem to make any difference to these “Storytellers.” Sad….Oh, Tess sends greeting fans.

Have you ever noticed that you never see Shakey and Garry Shandling in the same place.(I know Garry has passed on…just thinking Shankey looks a little like him.)

Shakey and now Quiver Trembly! Is this a great strip or what?

This hostess may be much worse than the last one.

The art looks so different with a different inker. Edison doesn’t look like the same person.

1. Crystal triumphant! She has successfully driven the twerps out of her house, and with no more blood shed than when treating Shaky’s gunshot wound.

3. Quiver Trembly surprised (to put it mildly) when long lost cousin suddenly shows up at her door (though she doesn’t yet know it, he’s on the lam and seeking sanctuary).
