Amelia has “saddled up” in the defense of others. She might blow it off with a smart-ass comment afterwards, but note the change.

There is a lot going on in each panel that Will Henry creates. Much can be missed by a casual reader. Sometimes I’ll start a re-read just to see what I didn’t see the previous times. Something new to discover.This is an extreme version of “GOOD”!

Any young girl in this day and age, unlike the days of yore, should be trained to know that if a well placed kick is needed it is not to the shin.

You go girl. Too bad there is no way to get rid the bullying gene out of our pool.

Pecking order: Amelia, Wallace, Spud, Gunther.

It’s all very well when there’s a supportive gang to confront the one insecure bully. Things look less hopeful when a cadre of bullies, performing for each other, gang up on a loner. Been there, not fun.

Amelia is the only one who has the “southern mama” vibe which instills fears in boys like Gunther… or she is just super scary :)

Amelia probably has some “dirt” on Gunther that he obviously doesn’t want to be common knowledge.

I wonder who still wets his bed?

Some nights I’ll start from the beginning and go through all of them just to see what I’ve missed in Will Henry’s excellent drawings.
