A niece, now 28, went somewhere with me in her late teens, wearing a T-shirt with YOLO printed vertically down one long sleeve… so probably ten years ago.

I knew what it meant without asking her…. and believe me, I was no middle schooler.

The only acronyms I am familiar with are LIFO and FIFO. I prefer the FIFO method cause it always made more sense to me to do it that way.

it’s even worse when comic strip writers try to use it. “Cheugy” was a thing for about 3 days on TikTok. Both YOLO and FOMO are years gone now.
