My wife asked when I was going to clean out my study. I said I was getting stuff ready to throw out and then I would clean what was left. Lots easier. She gave me the look and went for coffee.
You keep hearing that “everything” in the universe is moving away from “everything else” (expanding universe), then why is the Milky Way going to collide with the Andromeda galaxy (being geocentric [insert correct term here], it should read the other way around)?
He needs a magic expanding closet. I had a minivan that came with that feature — no matter how much stuff I had to load into it, I always managed to make it all fit.
In my software, the reason an object doesn’t expand along with the window is because you didn’t anchor its edge to the edge of the screen, so obviously the solution here is to anchor the edge of the closet to the edge of the universe.

While the universe expands, celestial objects (for the most) part get farther and farther apart,
However, gravity still acts to pull things (especially things that are relatively close) together.

Since the pants in my closet keep shrinking, why isn’t there more room in my closet?

What idiot would put a bowling ball on the top shelf in a closet? Are we watching the Three Stooges?

Space expands to accommodate matter. You buy a bigger house to house more stuff. George Carlin was correct.
