I really cannot speak for the other major religions, but as for Christianity, if Christ were to revise his previous visit he would most likely be found in the homeless villages and would probably be tossed out of any Christian Church he showed up at.
I can’t imagine him putting up with the cathedrals, rituals and clerical ranks of deacons, priests, bishops and archbishops that separate the laity from the pope or the top-down, dictatorial political structure of the Catholic Church.
I suspect that he would find the current pope like his first pope, Peter: a nice guy, trying to do the right thing, but screwing up a lot in the process. I like St. Peter. He was nominated as the Apostle most likely not to get it. It seems that Jesus has him on the carpet almost every other Gospel. If Jesus can put a screw-up like him in charge of his church, then there is hope for me.
It’s been thousands of years. Regardless of what the Bible may have promised or threatened, If there is a God, he owes man nothing. He could just get tired of Earth and forget about us. He may already have gone off and create another world with more pliable apex beings elsewhere.
The world is just what man wanted. Most want no part of God in their lives (heck, just read these comments). This is what happens when that happens. God will NOT force them to do anything. It is always OUR choice.
The vast majority of people I know aren’t “sinners” deserving eternal damnation. I think most people unconsciously follow the golden rule most of the time.
Sorry, God, showing your disappointment won’t work. From what I’ve observed, few people feel any sense of shame for their bad acts any more. Nowadays, when someone does something that I would have felt incredibly guilty about, they revel in the attention they get.

Too bad a lot of the disappointing things are being done in your name to make you proud of them.

Well, He’s bound to run out of patience with us, and soon!! It seems the world, and everyone in it can’t make it worse than what it is right now!!

A true god would feel neither anger nor disappointment. Those are human emotions.
