I can’t explain why, but for some reason B.O. Plenty came to mind when Tracy told Smith he knew someone who might be interested in the new invention.

Next, Diet, Pat Patton has always wanted to watch Rita Hayworth take a shower. He talked about it all the time when we were partners. All. The. Time.

Diet is so full of himself, what he should have said is; “It gives me great joy,,,,,”

Can we all agree that today is a total waste of a Sunday?

Diet needs to use his new toy to remind team Tracy how they used to write exciting stories!

If today’s is somehow tied into the anniversary, I am stumped on how. With all them Plennys gathered together such as they are, why doesn’t someone raise a shootin’ arn and pluck that bird …. from outa the sky ?  Should be enough for a lucky raffle winner to get a bodacious, righteous, delicious, snack.

I’m wondering if the Hall of Fame will have a tribute to Officer Ella French.

Always happy to see the Plentys make the scene!

Gee, now we can go back and see what that strange noise at BO’s house was….

It’s the little things….( that get obscured )…..

Will BO remember that bird? It seems like they were looking at it.

The most exciting technology in the history of the world, the opportunity to unravel the great mysteries of time, the chance to answer questions that plague mankind. “How shall we use it?” Smith asks Tracy. “Uh, take a family picture of the Plentys.”

There was a story by Gould (I think) where a relative of B.O.‘s made a big deal of having found a picture of some of the family members. B.O. was all excited about it, and it turned out the faces were all obscured for some reason (I can’t remember what, exactly.) So this is a “take-off” of that story, I’m sure. One of those “continuing the tradition” moments that often happen with B.O. and his family.

So, the first use of the Time Drone has enormous commercial possibilities, eh?

B.O.: Well, Bocephus claimed he saw one a them flyin’ saucers but it was just a bird. At least most of us dodged the poop that damn thing let go on us…

5-…I don’t even wonder fer a second how Doit got this pitcher. I ain’t the inquisitive kind.

SPARKPLUG: Me neither.

GERTRUDE: Nope, not me! B.O.: Bocephus was until that day. He stopped being curious after he got a face full a bird poop! Poor ol Bocephus! Caught a Hatfield bullet on the day he was to go in ta High School. I remember – he had just turnt 19 yars old…

THAT’S the person he thought of first? To use this incredible technology to take a family photo? And if B.O. is IN the phot, why does he not recall seeing the drone?

At first I thought that the fifth frame was BO’s hair and beard . I’m sorry , but I really did .

I may be wrong, but I don’t see Canhead anywhere in that picture. Maybe the guy with glasses comes the closest? Anniversary approaches. Will we get a decent story with a NEW bad guy by then? BTW Neil..really great comment

Unlike the photo taken at a carnival by an aunt (they were on the carousel) from the Blackstone comic reprint magazine series in my collection!

What, Smith’s gizmo went back in time to track down every forefather & foremother of B.O. Plenty, took a picture, & then Diet Smith made a montage of it? I know Joe & Mike seem to have special affection for B.O. Plenty, but he doesn’t seem to bring out their best work as storytellers, over the years.

With all that manpower and money, you would think he could’ve got someone who can take a proper photograph?

The plenteous Plenty family, depicted by drone, behind bird in between. B.O. is plenty happy at the boon bestowed by Diet. Sparkle, too, and Gravel Gertie. What a swell day to be a Plenty!

Did Shelley ink today’s ?  The graphic looks smooth and B.O.’s usually grizzled look has been toned down too.

I had to enlarge the page to be sure I was reading Tracy’s Hall of Fame correctly. WWI??? John L. Barker, researcher on radar, was born the 15th of October 1912, so he couldn’t have been working on radar around World War I — he was just a baby, and such research wasn’t going on until WWII. In the first world war, people were using listening devices that looked like giant hearing aid cones to detect enemy planes. Radar was a long way off.(Trivia: At Raytheon in 1945, Percy Spencer worked on microwave transmitters and a candy bar in his pocket melted! He reasoned that the radiation from a radar device was the cause. He built a device to concentrate microwaves to cook foods. This is how the microwave oven was invented.)

When Diet realized the picture was blocked by a bird, why didn’t he just send the time drone back to the exact same location, but 30 seconds earlier to get a clear, unobscured picture?

1.)I liked the picture on the Merry-Go-Round better.

2.)There are still 4 Plenty brothers we haven’t met yet.

3.)That looks like an all-Male photo.

During the Collins years,it was established that BO also had a sister who was a well-knownBroadway actress.Her daughter was actress B.U.Tiffil(1980’s).
