They must be very strongly scented.

Someone is horsing around.

In a sense, it’s both functional and festive.

It helps with the sense of smell and a sense of decorum (decoration).

It will make them pine for the fjords…..

Palm scent? I wonder what that smells like.

Bearable? But how? They is horsies, not bears.

They’re hung on the wrong end.

Get those things away from me. I love the smell of a clean barn. :)

Some stable genius came up with this idea.

Except for that Russian Horse that bathed in Drakkar Noir, I’d rather smell like the stable!

Makes it smell like a horse dumped in a pine forest.

The Washington Post has a weekly humour contest where readers are invited to contribute. They give strange prizes and they give one of those (branded) pine air fresheners for the contributor’s first ink ( fir stink ).

I’m guessing by the look on the face of the guy on the right that he doesn’t agree with that statement…

I was kind of wondering about the graphics portion lacking reality. What they are cleaning up doesn’t look like the Horse byproduct I remember. ;-)

You tried AXE cologne?

I tried something like that once. I really helped. Pine scented poop is soooo much more pleasant. …snort.

As a kid, I was never bothered by farm smells, even though I was a city dweller. Only aged 20+ did I start to perceive such odors as unpleasant.

That might work if you wore a hat with a brim, and dangled the freshener right in front of your nose. At least it would irritate you in a different way.

Thank Goodness, this cartoon does not have Smell-O-Vision!!!

Is that a pot leaf on the second horse?

I remember the Royal Tournament back in the old Earl’s Court in London. The horses were well kept on the ground floor, complete with a measure of climate control, but the dust from their stalls traveled well up to the first floor where we were quartered in open sections. We all got snoots full of the black dust and developed sinus infections.

My barn is very festive for Christmas! They need more wreaths and the horses need stockings!

Those who are “incensed” by horse manure, never cleaned up after hogs being fed mash & molasses – just sayin’.

We’re probably gonna need a lot more of those.

Ewww No! I find the smell of those car things nasty but the scent of horses is lovely. One summer as a teen a pal and I were Manure Maneuver-ers.

Could do with a bit of mistletoe.. should the farmers daughter mosey by.

What do palm trees smell like?

Going to need a lot to mask the stench coming from the farts on Capitol Hill.

Not sure the horses are happy though…..
