That exactly sums up my feelings on camping.

You didn’t want to stay home. You didn’t want to go to a motel. You didn’t want to get a camper.

Cuz someone told you camping was fun, and you were fool enough to believe them.

My poor mom no matter what mattress she got, she was on the ground in the morning. When she got arthritis dad had to rent a cabin at the Cape.

Because camping gear is so expensive these days that folks figure there has to be some good in it.

Last week, we got two weak-as-all-get-out dog gags; now this. I think Maria’s losing her touch.

My Chocolate Sheprador Mutt tried to sleep in the garage when I first rescued her. I have reasons to believe part, if not all of her life previous to me was spent in a barn. Well, that quickly changed when she realized the joy of people beds! She never understood the concept of camping and would give me dirty looks and major sighs at the injustice of sleeping on a sleeping pad/bag. Honorable mention she would also give the dirty looks/irritated sighs when I attempted to get her to sleep on a dog bed. Thankfully my cat was willing to use them, at least.
