At least this time, he will have an explanation for why he is running around with no clothes on.

Actions have consequences, as some people are now finding out.

You angered them Calvin, you pay the price.;-D

When Calvin has done bad things to them, he may not wonder, when they chase him!!

Does anyone know which book of C&H compilations has strips of Calvin’s snow monsters?

I might buy one; those strips are my favorites!!

Just this once…I would love to see the reality version of this event. Calvin struggling with a stuffed toy that undresses him then hangs him on a branch. Calvin is doing all the actions by himself to himself.

Well, a real friend wouldn’t get his buddy into a situation like this!

Actually, those are remarkably patient and forgiving hornets. You’ve been throwing rocks at their nest all morning, and only now have they decided to retaliate.

I normally don’t have issues with apian type bugs. Some bees, like carpenter bees, are so non-aggressive that they will even bump into you without stinging. Other bees are usually more interested in flowers than you. Even wasps don’t bother you unless you get within feet of their nests.

Hornets or yellow jackets will go out of their way to hunt you down to sting you.

A real friend doesn’t let you throw the rocks

Throwing rocks at a yellow jacket nest is a self correcting activity. You can guess how I know.

That is called.. “Being hung out to dry”. Love Hobbes.

It’s like arguing truth with anarchists. You never win.

We had a bees’ nest near the foundation of our house. I would lay on the grass & watch them go in & out. I never bothered them, and they never bothered me. One day my little brother & 3 of his friends were playing outside when one (who was a total BRAT) decided to throw rocks at it. The bees all came out. What’s odd was BRAT didn’t get a single sting, my brother & his friend Dennis got a few stings, but Dennis’ little brother Paul – the sweetest kid on earth – got stung so bad that he had to be taken to the hospital. Soon after, my dad sprayed the area.

A real friend would want you to learn your lesson;

Well, Calvin does have a point. I have a feeling he will probably be feeling a bunch of points pretty soon.

Calvin used a rock and is about to get stung. Now that I’m thinking of it, The Rock vs. Sting would have been a good wrestling matchup.

Connie: How did you get that cut?!?

Jeremy: Hector hit me with a rock.

Connie: Why? What were you doing?

Jeremy: Throwing rocks at each other.

Normally Hobbs joins in these activities

Calvin’s right, it’s not cool to leave him hanging there to get stung to within an inch of his life, no matter how much Hobbes may disapprove of his actions.

A real friend wouldn’t leave you your shorts. :)
