It definitely explains the lack of small bugs on him. Prehistoric field mice food.

It might also explain his seeming “built-in” resistance to other things.

A few days a go, there was a lightning storm near Grog. And all his hair was standing on end. What happen to all those rodents living in his hair?

Kind of reminds me of an Aerosmith song, “Rats in the Feller.” Lyrics hopefully courtesy of Aerosmith,

Goin’ under, rats in the fellar. Goin’ under, skin’s turnin’ yellow. Nose is runny, losin’ my rodent connection. Oh rats, getting an allergic reaction.

I’ve only just noticed… Grog’s left eye is on the side of his nose… on the same side as his right eye…

I think it was smart of Hart to use the same actor for both Grog and Spook.

“Let it fly in the breeze and get caught in the trees

Give a home to the fleas in my hair

A home for fleas, a hive for bees

A nest for birds, there ain’t no words

For the beauty, the splendor, the wonder of my hair."

    Hair lyrics…
