Coming Soon š At the beginning of April, youāll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Gotta give the kid credit for dressing the part he hopes to get. If he can read, in the right voice, he will be a shoo-in, with a well connected nudge by Unc metal filings. The 5 oā shadow is fast approaching 9 pm.
The plate on his forehead doesnt explain how the key stuck to his face back on October 3rdā¦this would be much more interesting if, instead of a ridiculous steel band on his brow (which looks more like Luke cage/power manās headband from the 70ās and 80ās than anything menacing) steelface had a complete steel facial covering like dr doom, and the only way to judge his emotions is by his eyesā¦.alas, thatās not to be
On a couple recent arcs there have been dynamite set-ups followed by lame/silly denouements. Once again I find myself optimistic about this introduction. Iāve no idea where it may be going at the moment, but I optimistically look forward to the continuation. Letās hope it doesnāt suddenly veer into a tragic parody where impossible coincidence provides the resolution ā once again crushing my hopes.
That drawing from the ad of Vitaminās forthcoming production, sure looks like Annie with Sandy, from back in the day. Only with a boy, instead of Annie.
So far they guy doesnāt seem completely evil. It will be interesting to see where Mike is taking the character. I like Shelleyās character design. Thereās a kind of dark and melancholy feel to him, and looks like some friends Iāve had in my life. The steel plate gives him a kind of Frankensteinās monster hairline and makes me wonder if his existence is kind of pieced together in some analogous way. A mysterious backstory lends some intrigue to the character.
Vitaminās production (and his ever-present videographer-wife, Kandikane Lane-Flintheart) are thus inextricably intertwined with nephew Robert and Uncle Steelface, who seems to be our designated villain. So, who is Steelface āinā with at the Patterson? And what will come of Robertās audition for his desired lookalike rĆ“le in Funny Papers? Will he be part of whatever crime is going to be perpetrated, presumably by Steelface? Let it unfurlā¦.

Good morningā¢, all!
Yeah he looks just like the character on the poster (not the dog, the boy).
Unc knows someone who might get him the part. Casting director?

Sorry but this has the makings of another train derailment. Granted itās too soon to know for sure but the beginning isnāt promising.
Is team Tracy stuck in the 1930ās?
Is that 5:00 shadow or rust on uncle Steels face?

I like his steely-blue eyes. They add to his āsteelyā look. I wonder what or who his connections are at the playhouse?

Av, I wish it was the 30s, the villains and stories were better. Starting with chrome up to the silly space stuff in the 60s. Pretty good run

Steelface is reminding me of 1951ās EMPTY,the guy with a huge hole in his head from a police bullet.
Steelface apparently had some sort of āaccidentā,but was it at the hands of the police?
