Shoot, meant to post this yesterday. Oh, well, better late than never: “On this day, a child was born, who, by age 30, would transform the world. Happy birthday Isaac Newton, born December 25, 1642.” —Neil deGrasse Tyson
Penguins live only on or a relatively short distance from the coasts of Antarctica. No native Antarctic animals (with the exception of South Polar Skuas, which have been seen flying over the Amundsen/Scott South Pole Station) live or even visit the South Pole.
From the North Pole, all directions leading away from the pole head to the south, so going south from the pole could just as easily cause one to end up in Siberia as Canada…
Excuse me, “In God we trust” is the motto of the National Bank of USA, yes? It is written on dollar bills. Instead the Nazis’ God was on the buckle of the belts, “God with Us” they said.Strange places to write prayers.

The biggest threat to authoritarian, criminal regimes is free speech.
Always look to see who is suppressing free speech.

I understand that ANYWHERE from the North Pole is south; and the same goes for the Antarctic – except it’s north, see?

S-o-o-o-o-o there’s a really versatile boat residing somewhere near Santa’s workshop and just waiting to be found? Cool

Penguin implausibility aside, if he was at the North Pole, any tracks would lead south.

I think Eddie is a much better contributor than an editor, but really, a good story should not be ruined by facts unless it’s a “no shytter”.

The one true god is The Great Panda. His knowledge guides us. His love saves us in times of peril. He is the spicy mustard on our wieners. Amen.
