Today’s comic has a hidden miracle which could be analyzed in a high school English language class. Today April can perfectly pronounce the word button whereas yesterday she could only manage calling it a buppum.

No worries. If she cr@ps out a whole sweater then you can worry.

Poop….poop….poopy….do..Poop! Problem solved.

Buttons and pebbles are among the things that can be swallowed with impunity (assuming they are actually swallowed, not inhaled). Almost any other sort of thing requires a trip to the ER. Magnets (plural) are a sleeper; they don’t seem like a big deal but they are.

Liz SAW her with the button and Liz didn’t grab it immediately! Blame for this one is on Liz.

I’m betting mom is in charge of the search mission.

Liz should have taken the button from April rather than let her prance around with it. But then again, I don’t really want to blame her because she should not have had to deal with an otherwise unsupervised toddler underfoot while she had work to do to begin with.

Tomorrow they get the button back.

Kids at that age put just about everything in their mouths. Buttons, coins, you name it.

LOL.. Kids swallow all kinds of things. Ask any ER physician. Too funny.

Aypo gotta go to the emergency room…

Well, we will see what happens in the end.

Get out the castor oil, or magnesium citrate. After which Liz probably won’t want the button.

Reminds me of ‘My Fair Lady’ and the experiment with the marbles…
