It is Jan 6th, maybe Luddie was staging a revolt? Janis needs to make sure her laptop is still in her office.

Friends who live in the country had this happen once, but it was a playful scramble from two puppies someone had dropped off inside their house. They already had an older dog. Mutt and Jeff were cute additions, and new watch dogs.

Our gentle giant clawed my wife’s hand a couple of nights ago, he caught her on a vein and she bled more than I’ve ever seen from a cat scratch

He does sometimes tries to stop us from taking our hands away when he hasn’t had enough

Janis never liked Ludwig, the one thing that irks me about this comic. I hope this isn’t going to go dark.

Janis nearly stumbled down the stairs and the cat saved her life.

Okay, here is my guess. Janis was sleep walking and Ludwig saved her from falling down the stairs by waking her the only way he comes how.

Is Janis sleepwalking? She is not sure if she was in the bathroom, so she was not fully awake.

Hey, pets can be scary. My daughters and I were watching a horror movie one night when they were in their teens and on of them got up to use the bathroom. She was turning lights on as she went. She got to the toilet, promptly screamed and ran back jumping over the back of the couch. The wife and I laughed, the other girls were terrified. I said, “What happened?” She said it is a good thing I was on the pot. The dog licked my foot and I pee’d"

I am definitely not a cat person and don’t like most of the ones I have met, but I am pretty sure, Ludwig wouldn’t have attacked Janis…..

Those thinking that Janis was sleepwalking and Luddie saved her from falling down the stairs, I am in agreement with you. When I was younger I had to habit of sleepwalking and my parents always feared I would fall down the stairs accidently so they never allowed me to have the bedroom closet to stairs, I always had to have one farthest away. I was in my early 20’s before I was able to have the bedroom by stairs and that is only because me and ex husband had just got married and were living with parents until we both got full time jobs, we were both working partime so couldn’t afford a place of our own and we didn’t want to wait any longer to get married so parents let us live with them. and the bedroom by the stairs was the largest one. my parents had separate rooms because she was a night owl who liked to read in bed but Dad had to get up at 4 am to go to his commercialo cleaning jobs so they took the two smaller rooms.
