When Pig was first hired, I bet the boss said, “I’ve got a bad feeling about this.”

They forced him off the job…

or Pastis could be fired for that pun.

The question is not whether you can be fired on your first day. The question is how many times can you get fired on your first day?

Where is Rat and his baseballbat when you really need him?

I give my name as “Pepapa.” Sounds like stuttering when they call it.

“It was a boring conversation anyway!”

Why should he be fired over that?? Not like he insulted the guy or said anything bad… just a lame pun.

Pig didn’t get fired so much for what he said. It was for the way he said it in a mocking/laughing sort of way while pointing and smiling.

At least they let him keep the bow tie.

I have been making bad puns at my job for years. I have yet to be fired, though.

As an employer how can you fire ANYONE right now? [3 Stooges:‘you. can’t fire me, I quit!“…”you can’t quit, I just fired you!" WHATEVER.

But getting back to the question, of course Rat knows you can be fired on your first day on the job.
