Charlie Brown became so shocked you could see the whites of his eyes.
Charlie Brown, time to go find him…please!
Slow news day
Poor Charlie Brown; I love his expression in panel two
Fowl play is suspected? Wouldn’t the fowl players be using a badminton racket instead of a tennis racket because they would be trying to hit a birdie?
Five miles huh? Seems Snoopy has met with fowl play?
That expression chuck has is one I rarely see!
Foul play? Aren’t they called “faults” in tennis?
“I can’t stand it. Snoopy’s fooling around, I can’t stand it.”
Today, you would find this all over social media with all sorts of conspiracy theories…
Charlie Brown seems awfully calm about his dog becoming a fugitive.
That face in panel 2 tho.
It could have been any dog.
This one is totally on Charlie Brown. Snoopy goes on a lot of adventures but he had no idea where Wimbledon was. This is all on CB.
and again a story line i don’t remember, so for me-NEW PEANUTS!!!! but he was only 5 miles out of town?
Snoopy’s journey continues, and Charlie Brown seems concerned.
So did Snoopy kill the railroad worker with his racket yesterday?
Oh No!!! I hope Snoopy is alright!
Authorities are always puzzled.
Snoopy is probably living it up with some tennis groupie
What town do they live in where a tennis racket lying on the ground is newsworthy?
Columbo once solved a murder investigation by [SPOILER ALERT] proving that scratch marks on two different cars were made by the same dog.
That is a first for me. Great observation.
Why would authorities regard finding a tennis racket near rail tracks suspicious?
He only got five miles away? On a freight train? Those things don’t stop often.
Ah,well,maybe he’ll find a college court.
We need a Famous World-Class Detective to solve this mystery…
Roundhead needs to worry. Authorities are making a case of animal abandoning.

Snoopy gone? No big loss…
I think Sparky might have been trying for a pun with the term. “foul play,” but I am not sure. A foul can occur in tennis.
Check yesterday’s comic. We see Snoopy throwing his tennis racquet off the train and then regretting it. So we know something Charlie Brown doesn’t know.
Well judging from that police blotter report, we know it ain’t St. Louis!
The only good fault is a tennis fault..
Not a good sign.
Why can’t Charlie Brown have a normal dog like everybody else?
What kind of foul play would involve a discarded tennis racket in the middle of nowhere?
