The Rolex Sea Dweller is rated to a depth of 4000ft/1220metres. If I ever found myself at that depth of the ocean, I think that the last thing on my mind would be ‘what is the time’
My Fitbit is allegedly good to 50 meters. If I am under 50 meters of water, I’m not concerned about whether it works or not. My pool is nowhere near 50 meters deep.
I wore my last one in the pool and had to exchange it a week later.
“My grandfather’s watch was the best ever made by the Timex company. It’s the same watch that John Cameron Swayze displayed last night on the old TV. Oh, it works underwater so perfectly, and it still makes a ticking sound, which my grandfather tried only this afternoon, and that’s how the old man drowned.” – Alan Sherman
Since fat floats, I’m thinkin’ she’ll never make it below the surface…(and please don’t get me started on what type bathing suit she’ll be wearing! Excuse me while I go poke out my eyes…)

The correct depth is important if you are thrown into the water with cement shoes.

I once was gifted an Omega Diver® watch that was guaranteed to a depth of 300 meters. It really was a great timepiece for scuba diving.
The problem was that on dry land, it always ran 3 minutes fast! My cheap Timex® was more accurate.

At least it won’t get damaged if she forgets to take if off before a shower to bath or if she has to wash the dishes or her dog.
