Hey, look everyone! It’s “Lisa’s Story”!

I haven’t habituated the Funky Winkerbean universe in several years. We moved, and our new paper didn’t include any Batiuk strips. Once I discovered GoComics, I found I was so far out of the story line that I didn’t start reading them again. Lately, however, I’ve been reading Crankshaft and seeing a wild array of comments, notably yesterday, which were unusually personal.

Did I miss something? Can someone fill me in as to what is going on? Thanks.
