Corporate profiling is what it sounds like corporations are doing to consumers. Now every time I log onto my OS I get ads about cheap international flights and AMEX platinum. It’s what I get for browsing YouTube at work.
The thing that amazes me is that they always get caught for being too greedy. The cypto-bank guy could have settled for a mere billion, but coudn’t stop himelf.

How many people today actually get pensions anymore. Most people were forced in to the 401k scam. The only people who get pensions are government workers and those that belong to a strong union
Bringing back pensions would be a boon to the economy, since workers wouldn’t feel the need to sock away any surplus for retirement, but would spend some and circulate it.
Just because they wear a suit, surround themselves with other rich people doesn’t mean they aren’t a criminal thug. Which is how we really need to start looking at these white collar criminals, that are often not given the sentences their crimes deserve.
When they do get the sentences they deserve, they often find ways to get out early. Such as using Covid and or other health issues. Things that don’t work for poor criminals, who are often denied treatment for medical issues while in prison.
Anyway, stop feeling sorry for wealthy people that find creative ways to steal from social programs intended to help the less fortunate, children, and old people in general. And small farmers, who often lose out to corporate farms that steal money intended for them on a regular basis.
Uncle Sam is the raider. He diverted the SS buy-in money into the general fund, stealing hard earned money put aside for retirements to benefit corporations and other non-contributors.

Saving up for retirement is like a plume of smoke. It looks solid from a distance, but when you reach for it, it is just warm air.

What’s the big deal?
Those stupid, would-be pensioners would just spend that money on frivolous stuff. WE will use it to buy Republican Supreme Court Justices.

“Raided” is such an ugly word. Say, “Borrowed for all eternity.”

You won’t need your pension, anyway. We’ve replaced it with a new retirement plan: it’s called “Working Till Death (yours) Do We Part”.
