I thought Roscoe’s dream was to be a golden retriever.

One of the best qualities of a dog is that they will stay by your side and listen to all your troubles.

Roscoe lays on the sofa, has at least one meal a day, probably plays wit a toy, gets his ears scratched, and takes his minimal 7 naps a day. What more do you want from a dog?

I’m with Rosco. Sometimes when I contemplate the ‘might have beens,’ I also wish I had a doghouse where I can mope.

Fortunately, the story will continue. I hate to see Roscoe feeling bad about himself.

I can promise you this and I concur; the best type of heroes have four legs and fur.

Awww! I love the vision of him like that, but sad he feels he is not what he is imagining. He is that, even though he may not see it. Dogs are amazing! They love you no matter what and are always happy to see you. That’s the best they can be right there.

My dog is a big baby. He loves to get on the couch and lay his head on my leg and sleep.

My dog will stay by me when I talk to her. I recently became aware she is nearly entirely deaf. Now that is devotion! There has been no change in her behavior, which just verifies my previous belief that she never paid any attention to what I said in the first place. I also believe she thinks the leash is for my protection when we go for walks. She also knows who cooks her dog food.

Just let me fetch my cape.

We can’t all be Superman, Roscoe. Or even Krypto.

I saw a cartoon pointing out that when you say, “Who’s a good dog now?”, it’s important to answer the question with, “You are! You’re a good dog!”
