MacIntosh Toffee (Wack A Pack) must have been invented by dentists as a way to increase traffic to their office. Guaranteed to pull out fillings and break teeth.
’Did the same thing with a Tums tablet … saved the molar chunk in case the dentist can Super Glue it back on but waiting for 2024 dental insurance to kick in just in case. Now letting Tums mostly dissolve in my mouth.
I once left an opened, unfinished but capped, bottle of soda/pop at my child’s house. The two litre size. It was there, unrefrigerated, from May until November. Child and her husband took bets on if I would still drink it or not. Child won. It was just fine. Peanut M&Ms also age well – I found one that had apparently rolled away from me who knows how long ago and ate it. Also just fine.

I’ve never had trouble from “cheese worms”… but a caramel once pulled one of my crowns off.

Preservatives preserve the food, not the teeth, it seems.

When I was 9 we were on holiday. I chewed a toffee and my brace was pulled off my teeth. We had to go home very early. I was not popular.

I hear denture repairs are quite costly. The “ow” must be in anticipation of the bill.

Maybe the dentist will have a Black Friday special.

In Canada we have Hawkins Cheezies. They’re that hard on purpose. (And now I want some Cheezies.)

Some day, thousands of years from now, archaeologists will be puzzling over their finding of petrified Cheetos.

Taffy is horrible. I remember eating sugar daddy’s, sugar mommas, and sugar babies as a kid. They will all do a number on your dental work.

I dearly love the very cheesy Cheetos. But they can get very hard to crunch down on.

If I eat lots of things with lots of preservatives, will I live longer? Seems to make sense.

The preservatives protect against harmful microorganisms, not petrification.

Old Cheetos go soft. You only know that if you don’t have a dog.

Nothing surprises me about breaking a tooth. I had a friend who broke her tooth on a cheese pizza.
