Gawdalmighty, Elly can be a real b!tch, sometimes!! Even Lynn eventually disliked her, and admitted as much.

“He’s a strong little guy, El. April isn’t going to hurt him.” Oh, Connie, That’s not true. Elly has the right of it. A 3-year-old kid is not going to hurt a puppy on purpose, but they are not going to know just how delicate a puppy is.

How could anyone not get attached to that adorable ball of fluff! They’re irresistible.

Similarly, I remember taking my daughter to a Forgotten Felines show (cats for adoption). My daughter couldn’t decide between several kittens and frankly, neither could I. They were all so freakin’ adorable. Yeah, we ended up taking 3 of them home. Did I mention I already had 3 adult cats? OMG….I had lost my mind. I became a crazy cat lady that day.

Sorry, El, I’m afraid the cow (or puppy) has definitely left the barn on that one. ;-)

Farley needs a pup to nurture.

Ellie, when Farley gives his life to save April, you will realize how important it is to have a sire of Farley’s not only be bonded with April but to be there to watch over her.

How much is that doggie in the window?…The one with the waggily tail….How much is t hat doggie in the window?…I do hope that doggie’s for sale……

Based on the admittedly sketchy drawings, it seems some of the puppies look just like Farley and others look just like Sera, but none of them look like a mix of the two.

Elly now has an excuse not to get a puppy. If April asks why she is not getting a puppy, Elly can say on account of April’s temper tantrum because she could not be a candle at the pageant.

Too late. Its a done deal.

It might be a little late for that.

Kids and puppies. Kids and kittens. Gotta love it!

This is why I’m glad we already had our cats for a little while before our daughter was born – the attachment was the other way around and she got used to being around animals from a young age.
