Nah, it’s the gray body hair growing over the seborrheic keratoses on my back. Oh, and the hairy ears…..and that large skin tag. Thinking of getting it tattooed with a face and declaring it a dependent on my taxes.
My mother went gray early. When she stopped dyeing her hair dark, she told my much younger sisters she was going to dye it gray, as they were turning it that way anyway. They were appalled, and promised to act better from then on,
Another badge of aging is wrinkles. I remember when some magazine did an interview with Lauren Bacall, and they took some photos of her to accompany the article. When the article was published, Lauren Bacall was furious when she noticed that the magazine had removed her wrinkles from the photos. She said, “I worked hard for every one of those wrinkles.”
One of my neighbors used to bug me all the time with “You really ought to dye your hair.” Finally I told her: “Are you kidding? I EARNED this salt & pepper!”
I earned each and every white hair I have on my head. I am proud of my age. I feel sorry for those old guys that dye their hair the color they had 40 years prior. Looks bad on most guys….
I’m 53 (soon to be 54). I don’t dye my hair, still have plenty of my original color with the white hairs interspersed and a strip at the temple (that I like). :-)
Husband went gray early in his 50s. By the time he hit his mid 60s it was pure white. He wears it in a queue (pony tail) as he keeps long for when we do 18th c reenactment events and it looks beautiful. I have a stray grey hair here or there, but just about all still brown – which it changed to from blond while I was in childhood.

My thoroughly white beard is a powerful asset in my holiday side gig as Santa.

The only time I examine my gray hairs is after I’ve removed them from my hair brush and am about to toss them into the bathroom wastebasket.

I don’t worry one bit about my gray hair, as I have none! (hair that is)

As well as all the noises the body makes as you sit down, stand up, and get out of bed in the morning.

The Bible calls gray hair a crown of wisdom. So instead of hiding that crown, one should rock it.

…I hope you won’t be jealous Of the silver in my hair; It took many lover’s quarrels to put it there….

What is with young women dying their hair gray? Gray must be earned.

Silly! Reminds me of Aunt Bea from Mayberry.

Started dying my hair when I was 16. As long as Clairol is in business, I’ll never know if I have gray hair or not.

That’s how I look at it.

I used to have more of them. What’s left is just the highlights reel and a few of my favorite jokes.
