Much of rural western New York is a food desert, not even a Big M or an IGA for the small villages. But I swear there must be a dollar store in every single town.
(Much like always carrying a deck of cards whenever you are lost in the deepest, darkest woods. Play solitaire and soon someone say, “Red jack on the black queen.” Then you can ask him directions.)

I found a hairpiece at the dollar store today!
It was a small price toupee.
littlejohn Premium Member 11 months ago
I bought something for $4.50 and gave the store clerk a five. Instead of giving me back two quarters he ripped a dollar in half and handed it to me.
There was no cents to that.
