When I was a kid, ( back in the dark ages ) the nun had a decorated box on her desk. Everyone put their valentines in it, and she would take them out and read who they were for. I lived in abject fear that nobody would give me a Valentine. Getting one or two meant that I could breathe again.

He has managed to wipe the hearts off his shirt as well.

The last time a woman put her a finger on my lips like that, her parents were downstairs and here we are 2 kids, 3 grand kids later.

And wipe that smile emoji from your dialog balloon!!

Another chip in the wall. Wedding bells in a decade or so!

Ah – such a gentle flower. How could he not love her?

Yet she still gave him that card knowing that it would elicit that exact response. Ah love…..

Will he open it? I don’t remember him opening the Christmas gift she gave him.

Ah, young love, isn’t it something?

I remember grade school Valentines. We had packages of them and it was expected we give one card to everybody. No one was left out.

She likes him. She doesn’t like his infatuation.
