Clams do lay eggs, don’t they?

Maybe that was a pearl it spit out?

“Clams got legs!!”

How many decades does THAT take us back?

A string of clam eggs really turn ladies on.

Getting educational today, are we?

Ahhhhh. A take-off on the old “Clams got legs” story arc.

Maybe he should just clam up about it.

Okay okay. Clam down now.

Green eggs and clams?

I remember when Hart stopped the world with “clams have legs”. I laughed all day long.

SPTO?

Keep an eye on them…we could use a dozen!

Now he can watch his money grow.

In Alabama that’s a clam.

There was a BC strip years ago where “clams got LEGS”. Couldn’t post, Google it.

Hardly enough to make an omelet with.

In at least some freshwater clams, females “suck in” sperm released by males that fertilize her eggs. Embryos and larvae (glochidia) are held in gill pouches until the larvae are quirted out of the shell and spend some further development as parasites on fish gills.

She knows how to use them.

Some fish swim in tight circles, boy fish bump girl fish to release their eggs, then releases sperm. It looks a bit like dancing. The new daddy fish stay to guard the babies.

Yep…..keeps life from being boring!!!!!!

Oysters don’t spit their pearls out, and most female clams expel their almost microscopic eggs when their male counterpart is available to fertilize them
