It started out as a good Idea but they live at the top of the hill.

This is very similar to the time Wally and The Beaver got the bright idea of moving Ward’s car out of the garage. That didn’t go well either.

Won’t move while it’s in gear, Calvin.

Hobbes, “In the past…” line is one of the truest lines in comics, and a particular favorite. I wish I’d known it when we were kids.

I’m not much for spoilers, but it’s safe to say this will not end well.

In the past, Hobbes. All in the past.

Wouldn’t the car be in gear, Park, and/or with the parking brake set? I think this may end just fine. Probably why they end up meeting in the tree house (spoiler).

Cal is too short to access brake/gear shift combo. Also, and I am ‘just guessing’ here, he also is just a tad ‘short’ of the strength to move a car. But, then again, in the comics, physics and reality are rarely present.

So they no keeps it in gear or they no uses hand brakes even eh.

One of the best arcs, ever.

But your meeting place is easily visible without the car in there, Calvin.

Hobbes’ last comment could be a subtitle of the whole comic strip.

I had forgotten that the formation of the GROSS club led to this plotline.

I just bought another calvin and hobbes treasury at goodwill for $1.25.

It is practically new as the spine isn’t even broken…

I believe old Calvie the imp would need the keys to get it out of park in order to push it out.
