B.O. enjoys it now until the Joker, Penguin, Riddler etc. rig it to blow only to find out who they killed was NOT the caped crusader or his sidekick, Robin. Carlo done good on that car.

Hokay, now I expect to see some serious hit sound balloons during this storyline (na-na na-na na-na na-na na-na na-na na-na na-na…!)

Originally the Batmobile was in the movie “It Started With A Kiss” with Glenn Ford and Debbie Reynolds. It was modified and repainted for the TV series.

I doubt its screen used. I’d guess it’s a replica. How do you get insurance for that thing? Is it even street legal? Stay tuned for that adventures of BO Man and Attitude!

Thee is a guy who is licensed to build replica Batmobiles. One can be yours if you have an extra $200,000 and a couple years to wait…

This strip seems to be a little… disjointed…

I guess the in-universe explanation is that this was a movie prop, and the drawing was to attract convention viewers. The “movie prop” explanation works regardless of whether or not the subject of the movie is a real or a fictional character in the Tracyverse. (It has previously been implied that Batman is real in the DT world although not mentioned by name.)

Last known whereabouts of the Barris Batmobile was the Hollywood Stars Car Museum. Located in Los Angeles I think.

Today is like a double punch in the gut – cornball B.O. and a terrible joke about the corny version of the Batmobile. WHY???

Lincoln should have made more of those Futuras.

This has always been my favorite Batmobile. Great job on the detail.

1-ARCHIE JUNIOR: Sweet ride, B.O.! Uh, have you titled it yet? B.O.: Nope. I got the papers in my pocket. I’ll do that next.

2-ARCHIE JUNIOR: Interesting. Say – did you know that bad boy has a built in hair dryer? I know you never wash your hair but Sparkle might. I’ll show you – go stick your head in that hole in the back bumper and I’ll fire her up…errrrr, turn it on for you.

B.O: Thankee, A.J. Should I take off my hat? ARCHIE JUNIOR: Nah. It won’t help…I MEAN, won’t make any difference. My very own BATMOBILE! BWAAA HA HAAA!

I forget whether David Wayne ever managed to steal it in his Special Guest Villain outings. Will have to watch for that.

I can just picture he and Gravel Gertie cruising the neighborhood. in their very own Batmobile!

I’m going to guess that since we’re in the middle of the Croptop storyline, and this is a Saturday strip, that Junior will handle this situation off-panel, and Croptop will be back on Monday.

Finally BO has a car that fully reflects his personality! I’m afraid it will be stolen from him pretty soon.

So we’re doing another crossover? I’m not sure if it’s a pseudo Batman thing they’re going for, but Junior’s leaning towards Power Rangers with that Alpha 5 impression.

Unlike – probably most of you – I don’t mind B.O. because he belongs in the strip. However, I’m beyond fed up with the fanboy crossovers. Period.

On the other hand, I’m loving Carlos Magnifico’s art. Junior, B.O. – great job! and if we have to have a Batmobile thrown in out of nowhere for no good reason, Charles nailed it!

You walked right into that one Junior.

I think the Hearsemobile from THE MUN STERS would be more BO’s style….
