When I was a kid, I honestly thought you could plug the extension cord plug into the extension cord’s outlet and it would provide electricity to the other outlets on that extension cord. Give it a go, Garfield!
Went and watched the new Garfield movie tonight (the late showing, we were the only ones in the whole theater!) I liked it, it was cute, especially Odie and baby Garfield!
I’m reminded of when my brother & I wanted to open a lemonade stand. We used our Lite Brite as a “neon” sign. I don’t remember how many extension cords we used to get from the house to the street, but we managed.
Looney Tunes cartoon with Goofy Gophers one time at the end they had a TV. One says isn’t television wonderful, the other replies, oh yes, just think how much better it will be once we have electricity.
TVs don’t really work well outside, since it’s so much brighter outdoors the screen can be harder to see, especially if the sun hits at an angle that glares the screen
Comics all over the world have made people smile. But few on the level of Garfield. Along with Peanuts, and Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield has made history with its timeless characters. Garfield has given me more hope in this form of medium that is the comic strip. Appreciating the simpler things in life is what Garfield represents. This is what makes it such a good strip. If you agree, please comment.

It was a better idea to place the hammock in the living room.

Okay this would have been a whole lot funnier before tablet computers, laptops, portable dvd players, etc. etc.

I was going to ask why Garfield was holding a fork, but another look revealed it to be the TV’s plug.
JPuzzleWhiz about 1 month ago
Why is Garfield struggling to move the TV? It can’t be that heavy.
Or is it because he doesn’t have opposable digits, so he has to push the set?

Very often a genius will have shortcomings in other areas. Einstein once left the house without his pants.
