She asked a good question, which is…If your family is not engaged in business endeavors but instead dedicated themselves to public service, is it normal to have 233 bank accounts for 175 LLC’s? Asking for a friend.
“… COLUMBUS, GEORGIA — Firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) may be controversial in Washington, but she came home to a warm welcome at the Georgia GOP state convention.
“I might be known for arguing with Republicans from time to time,” she said to convention delegates at a Saturday breakfast session. “But iron sharpens iron … There’s nothing wrong with a little bit of arguing in the Republican Party.”
Greene had done just that earlier this month, unsuccessfully trying to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA). She got into another spat just two days prior to the Georgia speech, participating in a nasty back-and-forth with Democrats in a committee hearing that Johnson described as “regrettable.”
But in a brick-lined ballroom on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, the crowd largely felt she was in the right.
“I love her,” said Joyce Hulsey, a convention delegate who lives in Greene’s district. “She’s fighting for us. She’s a go-getter. I love that she’s fighting for us like President Trump did.”
Hulsey said any controversy in Washington stemming from Greene is because “she’s telling the truth.”
As for the Republicans that Greene spars with? “They’re RINOs.” …"
I would say that MTG is a deeply unhappy person. Unfortunately, she directs her misery outward in an attempt to hurt others or make them equally lugubrious. She is not in power to help anyone, only to try to satiate her own shortcomings.
She is a disgrace as an elected official, an American, a Christian, and a human being. That she will undoubtedly win reelection is a bigger disgrace and a condemnation of the State of Georgia.
Biden suggests he was vice president during COVID-19 pandemic: ‘Barack said to me, go to Detroit’. Joe – Hate to break it to you, but you were and still are the President during Covid, moron.
Marjorie has some really good ideas if only folks would open their eyes. Stopping government overspending is the best idea in my opinion. Closing the southern border would be a close second in my opinion. If you don`t agree, I feel sorry for you.
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In a blistering critique on CNN’s ‘AC360’ on Monday, May 20, comedian and political commentator Bill Maher verbally attacked congressional Republicans, accusing them of prioritizing “owning the libs” over legislating.
Maher painted a picture of a party populated by “mental midgets” and “natural-born cultists” who have fully embraced the divisive leadership of former president Donald Trump, Mediaite reported.
While acknowledging his disagreements with Democrats, he described them as “generally still a sane party.” In stark contrast, he portrayed Republicans as having lost their way.
“Especially the congresspeople. They’re just there to do performative nonsense. They’re there to like, burnish their credentials to get a show on Fox News or something,” Maher expressed.
“And just also, people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, real mental midgets that-they are not interested in legislation. They don’t know how it works. They’re not really interested in improving the country,” he added.
He went on to label congressional Republicans as “natural-born cultists,” suggesting that their allegiance to Trump has worsened this issue.
According to Maher, the Republican Party’s tendency to “fall in line” is particularly dangerous now that they have rallied around a “cult leader.”
Maher’s concerns were echoed by Cooper, who pointed out the peculiar sight of several prominent Republicans attending Trump’s trial in New York, dressed in outfits mimicking Trump’s style. “You have to dress identical now to Trump,” Cooper observed.
“That’s just the weirdest thing to me. It’s just the most clear-it’s the clearest representation of just the ridiculousness. They’re all wearing these red ties. I mean, there was a shot outside the courtroom, literally, they’re all wearing the same thing,” he continued.
“Always a good sign when the right-wing party starts wearing a uniform,” Maher quipped. He drew a historical parallel, likening the situation to the Roman Empire.

I know that you cannot stand MTG any more than the rest of us; but sending her to Washington DC to get her out of your great state is not the answer.
