Very good routine and solid landing. Now the problem is, how to avoid being swatted while trying to enjoy lunch.
Parkour showed up in the several films. Looked to be both dangerous but also tiring to watch. But, one had to admire the actors, who showed true physical conditioning and skill. Naturally, the activity didn’t last very long as directors found it easier to show car chases and explosions with a gallon or two of blood and entrails for flavor.
Long before parkour was a thing, we were doing stuff like that. Jumping from rooftops of houses and rolling out on the ground, jumping from boulder to boulder, climbing structures, etc. we just called it “play”.
Parkour is also done by squirrels sometimes. They are very agile when in trees and I like watching them, especially in the spring. Those big bushy tails give them extra balancing skills. Cats can be pretty good at parkour too.

I can’t hear or read the word “parkour” without thinking of the opening of season 6, episode 1 of The Office.

Parkour is French for getting there the hard way. Ants cannot do it.

Interesting that it hasn’t been tried as an Olympic event.
