My favourite milk flavouring is vanilla. Walmart brought vanilla Quik. back about five years ago, then a year or so ago dropped. Must have been a shortage of albino cows.
As a kid, I was never one who thought that the color of the cow determined the color/flavor of the milk, nor did I believe what some said about different flavors came from different “spigots”. What I thought was that somehow they got the flavoring into the cow (I guess by feeding it chocolate or strawberry or whatever) and that determined what the milk was. So that wasn’t too far off: my wife tells me that as a little girl on their ranch, she fed the cow a bunch of carrots and they got yellow or orange milk.
This makes me think of going to the drive-thru milk depots as a kid and seeing the racks of “white” milk, as well as lots of bottles of chocolate and strawberry flavored milk. Can we even get strawberry flavored milk anymore? I haven’t seen it in decades (and I don’t mean milk flavored with Quik or something similar).

Well of course they do, and pink cows give strawberry milk.

Yeah, ok, but it’s looking more bullish than cowish. Not sure you’re going to get much milk.

Naw, brown ones give hamburgers. Least that’s what my great uncle always says whwn he sees ’em in the field, “Hello, hamburgers!”.

So why does she think it’s ok to bring a cow to work just because she can’t keep it at home? What a doofus!

Anybody remember the straws that you’d drink white milk thru and your end would be chocolate or strawberry?

Cows don’t give off a great smell, having one in her office must be quite odoriferous.

The funniest part is the expression on the cow’s face like “How the #$%#$ did I get into this?”
