If you can’t be in the month you love… love the month you’re in?

I’ll take St. Patrick’s Day over Thanksgiving every time.

Spring is going to be at fall every time for me. Wish I were there now!

I’ve “kite fished” before. I tied a kite to my carp rod, which had 17# test low-visibility green monofilament line. It was like fighting a 20-pound lunker, 300 feet above you!

Those of Irish heritage would strongly disagree!

It does have St. Patrick’s Day. But the celebration sometimes leaves something to be desired.

March also has the Ides, but that only mattered to Julius Caesar.

You can sing the words from the ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ theme to the melody of ‘The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald’ . Words from the ’Gillian’s Island’ theme works too.

The month of March is about 32 days too long up here in the snow belt of lake Erie.

Hey! It’s my birthday month! And the next one is the big 7-0, and retirement!! That should count for something..

Yep. I’m also due one in a week. But I retired in ‘96 at age 61 so, for this one, my combined digits = 17. At least that’s the grade my wife rates my brain. I think she’s just being polite.

March has my birthday!

I think of April or May, or even the summer months, when it comes to kite flying. March here in Michigan is the month where we might get a week of weather that seems like summer compared to what we just had in February, might get the worst ice storm of the year, and usually get a lot of weather that makes us wonder why April is the month famous for showers. Not in any particular order.

And Pi Day!

All my life I thought April has the reputation for being kite-flying month, not March.
