Pyrrhic remedies

Well, we tried that remedy with our Feisty, but to no avail unfortunately. Sprayed the stuff in the carrier, but she still didn’t want to be in it. Also the vet has it in the waiting room as a scent to keep the cats calm. That also doesn’t work for her, she’s just a bundle of stress. And just like Ludwig, terrified of the vacuum.

And don’t forget death.

That looks like the fine print for every medication on the market.

Allergies?

First 2 panels are the ones cat owners (and lovers) care about. We know about and put up with the negative also although Jimmy’s kind of exaggerated them.

As usual, the side effects of treatments outweigh their efficacies,

I love cats but now they really kick up my allergies

People think cats are cuddly furballs, but they are really viscous beasts in disguise.

That’s why I prefer Canidog.

I prefer pet hairs on my furniture over siblings on my furniture.

But on balance …

72 years without a pet. No need to prove dominion over lesser creatures.

HA! Cats— what can you do?

Scientists are now telling us that it is not the hair on cats to which so many people are allergic. It is instead the saliva on the hair from the cats licking their fur.

Yeah, if you’re allergic, sure… but there are techniques and treatments for that, too.

Got two wonderful little dogs, they are great. Had a cat, constant trouble sort of like having a mother-in-law living with you.

I despise cats because they get on the counters where we prepare food.

So, is the spelling issue solved?

There’s still the problem of there vs they’re vs their, but fortunately not in this strip.

With all the cat hair we have in the vacuum cleaner & the dryer filter I’m surprised ours aren’t both bald!

I am very allergic to cats. If I merely walk into a room where cats have been my eyes water, itch and puff up and I start itching all over.

Mentally posting photos of my 4-legged therapists sleeping quietly…meanwhile the neighbor’s dog barks all day long.

The benefits far outweigh the drawbacks IMO, but everyone is entitled to their own limits.

I miss my two cats, ex husband had to take them when he left me because I couldn’t take care of them alone with my health problems, the older one passed away 2 years ago but the young one is going strong. My Dad has a cat, my avatar picture of him playing in a pile of leaves, and I get to visit with him when I need some cat time.

I have 3 cats: a long hair who sheds in tufts so not too bad because they just fall to the floor or you can pull them out when you see them, a short hair with rather coarse fur which is the WORST, UGH, and a short hair with silky fur like a rabbit’s. that’s the best fur for minimal shedding. I swear though, the coarse fur cat sheds a kitten’s worth of fur a week, bushed or not! She’s my best girl though, que cat baby voice: her love her daddy, yes she does.
