Um… My understanding is that homicide is part of an MCU. Some PDs don’t have a division they call an MCU, but in those that do (to the best of my knowledge) it includes the detectives working homicide. The Tracyville MCU handles stolen board games (that’s major?) but needs to call the homicide division about a murder?
How about something like, “Lee, see if forensics has come up with anything new,” or “Lee, see if the coroner has found an explanation for the erratic behavior before the murder.”
Sigh… Once upon a time, and very long ago it was, Tracy would even peer into a microscope himself to remind readers than police used something called science and not simply coincidence to solve crimes.
(I was taught a before a consonant sound, an before a vowel sound. So a mouse, an MCU.)

Good morning™, all!
The old “divide and conquer” strategy again. I think that Two Fox Plaza is the key.

Good morning™, Marching Orders !
Tracy’s commanding presence lends gravity to his words. Is that a sneer in P. 3. ?
