Checking the obituaries to make sure she’s not dead yet. Something I’ve gotten into the habit of doing lately just for my peace of mind.

To be considered elderly in the 1660’s probably meant you were over 35 years old.

Her interest piqued by several paintings on display that portrayed the Biblical story of ‘Susanna and the Elders’, Willemina was disappointed that her edition of the Bible did not mention it. And she had so wanted to discuss it at her ‘MeToo’ meeting.
