Garfield, usually when someone says “What could possibly go wrong?” in a cartoon or comic strip, something always does. Here, a Polar Plunge has gone wrong.
The kids and their friends are really enjoying our hot tub. 16 degrees F and they are out there splashing around. Of course, (whisper) my wife and I enjoy it after they all go to bed.

And we had the first snow of this winter today. It’s not going to last, but it’s kinda nice to wake up to a white world this Sunday.

One fine day with a woof and a brrr,
A creature was born and it caused a little stir,
No blue bunny, no three-eyed frog,
Just a feline/canine little catdog…

I absolutely love Garfield and Odie’s relationship…so much fun! Jim Davis’ work has been with me since a kid and always love his strip.

In any given situation, if you have to ask “what could possibly go wrong?” you will most definitely shortly discover the answer!

Not to be picky, but the curves at the ends of the ice should go in, not out.

Odie’s tongue is going to get stuck to the ice.

Don’t worry. The added saturdated fats will break the ice layers.

If the water froze in that pool the edges would be concave not convex !!!
Other than that it’s a good gag.

It also does not work theother way around. Dreaming of winter in the summer does not change things.

The secret to enjoying cold water is never asking what could possibly go wrong. Because life will always provide an answer.
