OMG. Earl actually told Nelson an accurate scientific fact.

The next step is the tough part. Where he has to explain that the gene in question comes from the mother’s side.

Unfortunately, since Earl and Opal’s daughter is Nelson’s parent, Earl being bald puts him right in the crosshairs.

He’s bald because God loves some heads more than others. He covers up the ugly ones with hair. Earl wasn’t friendly to God.

My brother was bald at 17

Better than having all the sides go bald and be left only with hair on the top of your head. That would look weird.

Don’t laugh Nelson, it’s in your genes too.

My 4 yo grandson asked why I didn’t have any hair. I showed him my chest and said it’s because so much went there there wasn’t any left for my head. He told his mom that a few days later and she thought he was so clever.

I don’t wear jeans anymore, and 84 years plus 9 months ago an anonymous pair of horny teens were having fun, so I guess I’m wearing their genes. I still go to my barber once a month, just out of charity.

Earl is talking to a child and whatever he says is going to be misconstrued in one way or another. Nelson see the word “pattern” as something other than what Earl is saying.

Well they say if your bald in front you’re a thinker, if your bald in back you’re a lover, and if you are bald all over you just think you are a lover. Fits Earl pretty well I would say.

We have no choice in choosing our own parents … but Maurice Wigs and Merkins Co., that’s a whole different story.
