Ah yes, the Wizard of Oz. The story of how a young girl travels to a surreal world where she kills the first person she meets, then works together with a few bizarre characters to seek out and kill that woman’s sister (from an actual description in a newspaper TV guide a few decades ago).

As in a typical shopping mall, adult-unaccompanied teenage minors are sometimes as irritating as the proverbial ‘flying monkeys’.

When l first saw this movie, the whole film was in black & white.

Everyone gets that line about not being in Kansas wrong, she was really overjoyed to somewhere else.

Don’t need a map, just go east to the show-me state.

We have a friend named Margaret Hamilton (The Wicked Witch of the West). “I’ll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!”

Looks like a lot of us are feeling that was these days. But, like Dorothy, we’ll just have to work our way through it.

There is a theory that there are an infinite number of universes. Across all these universes anything that is possible has already happened, is happening or will happen including an infinite number of universes exactly like ours. (Infinity is a BIG beyond number).

So there is at least one universe in which Harris won the election. If it were my lot to be in that universe, I’d probably be my luck be a MAGA.

Oh well, I’m stuck in this one, I’ll just have to live it out.

Confirmation bias . . .

Having lived and worked in Kansas for over 30 years, I can assure you that the state is indeed all black and white.

When I first saw the movie as a child of 8, I was upset because they don’t ever tell you what will happen to the dog, Toto. Miss Gulch had a court order for the sheriff to take him away and nothing was said about it being rescinded.

Wow!! Toto is a huge dog in this cartoon. His ears are above Dorothy’s shoulder while he is sitting down. ;-)

Off topic, I know, but I’m wondering again.

When will we have our version of “The night of the long knives”? You can google that, of course.

A certain trump hanger-on has to go. One too many loonies, who thinks that he’s in charge.
