I told my wife if she ever caught me watching golf on TV to just shoot me.

Is Bowling like the Poor Man’s golf … except with larger balls? Is bowling still shown on TV? I’d bet those fancy-dancy golfers couldn’t bowl worth a darn. :)

I prefer mini golf. (Thanks to you tube, I can watch mini golf videos, too!)

YEARS ago, when my girls were around 8 & 10, they were supposed to spend Father’s Day with their dad. They had bought him presents and were so excited to see him. He told them he just wanted to stay home and watch golf. It wasn’t even the Masters. They were crushed. They are 31 and 33 now and don’t really have a relationship with him. An occasional phone call on holidays and birthdays is about it.

My Husband watches it. What I don’t understand is: why do the commentators whisper when a player takes a shot? They’re in a studio somewhere on the course, not traveling from hole to hole.

I was at a paint-drying and grass-growing expo the other day when a golf match broke out, and everyone got bored and went home.

Has anyone ever noticed that the whole purpose of a game of golf is to play as little golf as possible?

I remember a comedian one time saying that the only thing more boring than watching golf on TV was listening to it on the radio.
