I like baked potato. I sometimes even eat the skins.

Less chance of her ruining that than a cake.

What was she doing that she had no time to bake a cake? Overspending? Wrecking the car?

The only way I like baked potatoes is if they’re smothered in sour cream. Yummy!

With Loretta’s cooking, every day is ‘Happy Burp Day’ for poor Leroy.

As long as bacon and cheese are involved, I’m good with the baked tater on my birthday.

Four minutes in the microwave, easy-peasy, even for Loretta.

Why are they eating at home on a birthday? Go out to eat so you get a good birthday dinner. And be sure to order dessert.

I don’t have time for a baked potato so I’m going to the bar.

I’ll take a baked potato over a crummy cake any day.

Micro-bake. 10 minutes in the microwave, another 15 in the oven, and the potato comes out perfect.

She looks so excited about it, too.

Sadly, a boxed cake mix takes less time than baking a potato.

I’d rather have the baked Potato instead of the cake cause I’m diabetic!

Microwave ovens have the Baked Potato option, push the button, I don’t think even Loretta can mess it up. Did she wrap it in foil or not? No foil for me, I like them crispy.

And it will taste the same.

My birthday falls during Lent no matter when Easter falls. My mother used that as an excuse to not celebrate. It was not until I was 16 and away at university that I had a slice of my own birthday cake. I have been making up for that ever since.

I always strike that pose just before Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.

She remembered his birthday, put up a sign, baked him a potato, she’s smiling and she isn’t criticizing. Maybe later on he’ll score.
