The drapes are just funny shaped clouds. Everything there is a funny shaped cloud

A rock musician dies and goes to heaven, and St. Peter is describing how he will now be jamming with Hendrix, John Bonham, etc. The guy is delighted, then St. Peter says, “Just one catch – God’s girlfriend is the lead singer.”

Awww, still sweet 30 years later…

So rare when a strip kills off a character…she had a good passing..

Here’s my order: A hammock made of beautiful embroidered silk. . .with a stack of well-written, well-plotted HAPPY books beside it. . .and a never-empty bottle of tonic water. . .

As soon as she insulted the drapes, she found herself drowning in a lake of everlasting fire…

No matter what one’s spiritual beliefs are this arc has been simply sublime.

Reminds me of the twilight zone episode with a similar story, but the loss of so many of my dearest friends and family makes me so sensitive to losing even a cartoon character. This is the down side to living longer. Happy Easter weekend folks, and appreciate what you have and how you came to get it.

I hear she looks a lot like Betty White, but that’s just a coincidence.

Sad to see Lacey go. I have to wonder at the re resemblance to her homeless doppelganger as to whether they were related.

They’re not drapes, Lacey. They’re tapestries. (…which show scenes from history. All of them.)

Beautiful story. Hope death is as peaceful, with a loved one waiting on the other side.

The crazy part about liking Lacey so much? She was a conservative Republican congresswoman. Would she be able to win a primary today?
