Every so often I put aside my calculator to perform multiplication and division problems the old-fashioned way, on paper. It’s an ability I learned with difficulty, and I don’t want to forget it.
All of my math teachers told us, “But you won’t be carrying a calculator in your pocket everywhere you go.” They were SO mistaken. Nobody predicted mobile phones…except maybe William Shatner.

Remember that “mood” spelled backwards is “doom”. (Not particularly useful in life, but it means another 1-point word in Boggle.)

I’m in more of a coloring mood myself, I’ll just tell the boss to stuff today. Oh, wait… I’m self-employed, and my boss is a real tyrant.

They must be in the “Advanced math” class. That’s a pretty tough problem for a young kid.

unfortunately many kids have been taught if you aren’t in the mood just don’t have to do it and it shows in their adult work attitudes
